We are on a mission to empower everyone involved with Tarot, and we have a few other tricks up our sleeves.
When it comes to our mission, why we're here, and what we'd like to accomplish, we can offer this:
Personhood, real people
We seek to offer a safe, trustworthy space that seem to be vacating the internet at an alarming rate. Thusly, we have these policies:
No spam, impersonation, bullying, or harassment.
Keep private readings private. Members with free accounts will be able to share readings with one other logged-in individual but cannot otherwise post their readings.
Personhood required of members who publish public readings. Public readings will be available to deck creators, administrators, and paying members who allow us to validate their credit card details monthly.
Big on macro data, not personal data.
We will take data on your cards. We want to know how many knights of wands came up today, etc. It's interesting! That is why we are here.
No, not the context. Your individual reading contexts (including personal details) are impossible to put into data-driven context and will be avoided.
Yes, for the weather report. We are interested in studying numbers, percentages, and evolving statistics around the readings in our system.
Officiate API for Tarot Readings
Offer data-type for readings which allows for integration of other apps. Would you like to integrate into Zoom? WordPress? Facebook? This is currently impossible because no standard is set for the data format that could inform readings. We can change this.
Offer useful pages for public readings. Pages will feature not only cards, but text, images, links, and relevant contact information for readers; as well as information feeds to allow other apps integrate with us.
Power to the readers!
Offer tarot readings on tangible, interactive web pages that leave a high-fidelity, accessible artifact of your reading - the ability to look back on details at a later time without scrubbing through audio/video. Gain reputation and trust on a longer timeframe for every reading.
